Job Title: Reunification Supervisor

At Restart Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Reunification Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Human Services department, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive services to families in need.

Job Summary:

The Reunification Supervisor will work closely with families to prevent out-of-home placements of children and/or assist in reunifying families after foster care placements have occurred. This role requires a strong understanding of family dynamics, child development, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with families to implement recommendations from various stakeholders, including the Department of Human Services, Community Services Board, and Court Services.
  • Attend all required meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and goal achievement.
  • Assist families in strengthening their parenting skills through modeling, coaching, and facilitating therapeutic visitations.
  • Link families to applicable community-based services, including transportation and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to ensure timely assessments and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field (Social Work, Human Services Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Special Education, or Criminal Justice).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with at-risk populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with families and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records, and to prepare and submit reports as required.
Work Environment:

The Reunification Supervisor will spend the majority of their work week in the community, visiting with families and providing case coordination, goal setting, linkage to services, advocacy, education, and evaluation. Early morning, evening, and weekend work is frequent, and the ability to remain flexible and adapt to crisis situations is essential.
