Overall Purpose of a Senior Site Operations Manager

Accountable for overseeing a site or managing a team of Site Operations Managers.

Ensure Quality services and support for all operations assigned to their site(s).

Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Business Development
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and site personnel.
  • Conduct daily communications with various stakeholders at the site level.
Operations
  • Set up and oversee operations.
  • Staffing of operations.
  • Train and validate inspectors.
  • Coordinate modifications in operations.
  • Isolate, tag, and verify nonconforming materials.
  • Conduct ongoing audits to assess the effectiveness of work performed.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Make independent judgments for subjective scenarios.
  • Act as an inspector when necessary.
  • Demonstrate commitment to reducing workplace accident risks.
  • Comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies.
Organization & Management
  • Ensure all site personnel receive corporate communications.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources for performance and attendance issue resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between Site Manager and inspectors.
  • Ensure all inspector time is recorded, monitored, and approved.
  • Create and maintain a 5S working environment.
Technical
  • Update daily system entries in company and client portals.
  • Create and maintain client and company reports.
  • Utilize company web portals to document required audits and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with suppliers and clients regarding process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills.
  • Create electronic work instructions and navigate company and client websites and portals.
Other
  • Any other duties as assigned.
