Production Worker Job Description

Champion Home Builders Inc is seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team in Athens, TX. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for working on the production line to build manufactured housing, performing quality work safely, and consistently meeting production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual labor in the assigned area, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Read and use a tape measure, blueprints, and orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Operate hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to assemble and finish manufactured housing.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality expectations, with a strong focus on reliability and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized construction or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 100 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly and methodically.
  • Excellent attendance record and willingness to learn new skills.
