About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Product Marketing to join our Marketing team at Netgear. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Product Development team to shape the strategic direction and positioning of our Connected Home Products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers for new products and services.
  • Translate technical features into clear and impactful benefits for customers.
  • Conduct qualitative, quantitative and competitive research and leverage the analysis to inform product messaging and positioning.
  • Create buyer personas to ensure every business, design, and marketing decision resonates with target consumers.
  • Lead product launches from planning through execution, ensuring successful product releases and driving measurable results.
  • Create GTM launch plans including training, presentations to regional sales, marketing and PR as needed.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Oversee the successful execution of packaging design projects, from concept development through to final production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving product growth and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of B2C marketing, with experience in technology.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and compelling messaging.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
