Job Summary
SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the NAVSEA O5T government Budget Financial Manager in the Washington Navy Yard. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days of in-person work and 2 days of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to track program expenditures and forecast future financial requirements.
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Provide financial support to program leadership for decision-making.
- Track budgets, costs, and variances.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in financial analysis within the DoD, preferably Navy.
Skills and Clearance
- Experience with DoD financial management systems and processes such as WAWF, N-ERP, PBIS, etc.
- Strong understanding of government contracting and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Target Salary Range
$80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
