We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the guidance of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
- Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduled procedures according to physician preferences.
- Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Document records accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
- Confirm that all individuals in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
- Communicate patient status to other staff responsible for patient care.
- Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment by following cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
- 1+ years of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
- State Radiology Technician license required.
