Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
  • Perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by licensed practitioners.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served.
  • Perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation.
  • May need to lift patients or assist in lifting on and off the exam table to position for procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (MRI) or registry eligible.
  • Current state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in MRI preferred.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
