Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the guidance of your Physician, you will perform various diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes. You will be responsible for upholding the HCA mission, which is to commit to the care and improvement of human life.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition before and during all radiologic procedures.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids according to the physician's preference card.
  • Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper working condition.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all individuals in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
  • Communicate patient status information to other staff involved in patient care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment, following cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Radiology Technician required, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • BLS certification required (within 30 days of start).
  • State Radiology Technician license required.
