Job Summary

University Physicians Association is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at UNIVERSITY PALLIATIVE CARE in Knoxville, TN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care, scheduling, and administrative tasks
  • Provide vital signs and pre-examination procedures in a clinic setting
  • Assess and gather data from patient electronic records
  • Support providers in consultations, treatments, and follow-up care
  • Manage medication reconciliation, patient compliance, and inventory
  • Rotate triage nurse call for urgent medical issues
Requirements
  • RN or LPN License required
  • Prior medical experience is essential
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
