Sales Director

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director - Mid West to join our team at the Optel Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Life Science and packaging industry, with over 7 years of experience in sales and account management. You will be expected to analyze sales data to inform decision-making and optimize sales performance, develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets, and build and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- ANALYZE SALES DATA TO INFORM DECISION-MAKING AND OPTIMIZE SALES PERFORMANCE
- DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SALES PLANS TO MEET OR EXCEED QUARTERLY SALES TARGETS
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CLIENTS
- COLLABORATE WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT ON SALES GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the Life Science and packaging industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary Estimate: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience
