Job Title: Commercial Security Installation Technician II

As a Commercial Security Installation Technician II, you'll play a critical role in installing, programming, and configuring commercial electronic security systems for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure commercial electronic security systems, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communication systems.
  • Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet contract requirements.
  • Supervise Installation Technician I's on job sites as assigned by the Installation Manager.
  • Drive company-issued vehicles to client sites to perform system installations and confirm system operation.
  • Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs, to connect control panels, conceal wires, and install security software.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent required; vocational school or military experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage communication industry, installing field devices, programming systems, and managing small jobs.
  • Experience with software such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, or ONSSI preferred.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic., etc.).
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail required.
