Job Summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic control systems, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and connect field devices, ensuring proper wiring and concealment
  • Test new system installations to ensure they meet contract requirements and local, county, state, and federal codes
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks, such as job-site clean-up and overnight travel as needed
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage communication industry installing field devices
  • Military veterans with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician encouraged to apply
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
