Security Installation Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Security Installation Technician II to join our team at Allied Universal Technology Services. As a key member of our security technology team, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and configuring commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure commercial electronic security systems, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communication systems.
- Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet contract requirements.
- Supervise Installation Technician I's on a job as assigned by the Installation Manager.
- Drive to client sites to perform system installations and confirm systems are operating effectively.
- Run electrical wiring and perform related activities, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
- Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned, such as job-site clean-up.
- High School Degree, Vocational School, or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage communication industry installing field devices, programming systems, and managing small jobs.
- Military veterans encouraged to apply, especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician.
- Experience with software such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, or ONSSI preferred.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic., etc.).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum direction.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
- Ability to complete time entry from home on a daily basis via the Internet.
- Ability to deliver product familiarization training to end-users.

- Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days.
- Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
