We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Development Manager to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director in the daily operations of the Proposal Development Office, serving as the administrative lead in developing all components of federal and non-federal grant proposals, and coordinating institutional approvals and submission information.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Develop all components of federal and non-federal grant proposals, including research proposals, budgets, and justifications.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Director, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Team Management: Supervise staff and/or students, including making recommendations for hiring and firing, completing performance evaluations, training, allocating work, and resolving problems.
- Communication: Collaborate with the Director and other institutional leaders to track and interpret submission data to identify funding trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Master's Degree.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of related work experience.
- Skills: Independent decision-maker, ability to manage and evaluate team performance, competence in interviewing employees, strong organizational skills.
