Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is at the leading edge of creating advanced solutions for Electronic Warfare (EW) initiatives. We utilize the electromagnetic spectrum—encompassing signals like radio, infrared, and radar—to detect, safeguard, and communicate. Concurrently, EW capabilities can disrupt, deny, and impair adversaries' access to these signals.

Your Role:

We are seeking a seasoned systems engineering professional to join our team within the Spectrum Convergence Integrated Engineering organization. In this managerial position, you will provide technical guidance, oversee management, and nurture the development of your team in alignment with one or more Spectrum Convergence projects. You will be accountable for proposal development and program execution associated with your designated program(s).

In this pivotal role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the charge in Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborating with development teams to advance practices in DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, Automation, and Modeling.
  • Assisting in the operational management of the Spectrum Convergence Integrated Engineering organization.
Specific tasks may vary based on your expertise and the organization's requirements, but may encompass coordinating training, recruitment, staffing assessments, retention strategies, cross-disciplinary process enhancements, and other organizational projects.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in technical leadership and/or management within EW/Radar Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and/or Integration & Test.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the design, implementation, and/or integration of EW or radar systems.
  • Familiarity with contemporary DevSecOps and Digital Transformation methodologies.
  • Experience managing Agile engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to oversee complex technical systems/programs.
  • Strong business insight, management influence, and holistic systems thinking.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electronic Warfare algorithms and architectures.
  • DevSecOps / Digital Transformation tools such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, DOORS, MATLAB, Rhapsody, Cameo, Jenkins, Robot Framework.
  • Proposal Development; Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. citizens to be considered.
Work Flexibility: This role offers part-time remote telework opportunities, allowing for a blend of remote and on-site work.
Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin supports various flexible work schedules, including condensed workweeks.
Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience. Lockheed Martin considers multiple factors when determining salary offers.
