About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Lockheed Martin's team of experts in radar systems architecture. As a Radar Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced radar systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop revolutionary system solutions that meet customer performance and functional requirements.
  • Perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Develop algorithms for processing radar data and create models and detailed simulations to assess system performance.
  • Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Perform technical leadership of the above activities and represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers during system development and support reviews of engineering artifacts to ensure their quality and completeness.
