Job Description:

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance team is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards. They conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with specifications and standards. They develop and implement testing procedures to verify quality and compliance of products. They ensure that quality testing is conducted on a statistically representative sample size. They perform audits to ensure quality standards are maintained. They accurately document the results of inspections and testing. They recommend testing at various stages of the production process to identify non-compliant items or batches as soon as possible and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement testing procedures to verify quality and compliance of products.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Ensure that quality testing is conducted on a statistically representative sample size.
  • Perform audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Accurately document the results of inspections and testing.
  • Recommend testing at various stages of the production process to identify non-compliant items or batches as soon as possible and reduce waste.
  • Work with operations team to resolve issues and put in countermeasures to prevent future reoccurrences. Improve/modify test procedure as required.
  • Other Job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in Assembly/Installation, Testing, or Inspection.

Physical Requirements of the Job

Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Physical demand requirements are in excess of light work. Medium to heavy work is defined as:

  • 10 to 40 pounds of force frequently, may include pushing, pulling and lifting
  • 40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects
  • Ability to stand on concrete for 10+ hours per shift
  • Ability to access the truck, above, below and all around the truck along with getting into the basket and functioning the unit

The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.
