- Establish and enforce quality standards for incoming materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Prepare for and conduct regular quality audits and inspections, ensuring all audits and certifications are current.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Generate reports on quality performance and present findings to management, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, introducing recommendations and solutions.
- Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to integrate quality into process optimization efforts.
- Promote continuous quality improvement and increased customer satisfaction daily in all areas of the organization.
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures, ensuring a culture of quality excellence.
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of quality control experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate diplomatically and collaboratively with all areas of the company.
- Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.
- System evaluation skills, with the ability to assess and improve quality systems.
