  • Leading and mentoring IS associates, as well as guiding projects and initiatives.
  • Applying strong knowledge of healthcare operations, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and management skills to design, develop, and deploy critical systems.
  • Driving process improvement in application services delivery.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging trends in healthcare technology.
  • Ensuring projects are within scope and applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing day-to-day operations to support efficient planning and resource utilization.
  • Successfully managing a full workload across multiple projects while leading a team of assigned associates.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and developing direct reports.
  • Conducting performance reviews for assigned direct reports.
  • Managing assigned associate's time and attendance/payroll.
  • May be required to travel or work outside of normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, business, or related field.
  • Financial skills related to budgeting, forecasting, and managing multi-million-dollar departmental budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of major healthcare information system(s).
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology leadership role.
  • Experience in providing and managing customer support in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work on multiple and complex projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent resource management, including resource projection and budgeting skills.
