Job Title: Information Security Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Project Manager to join our team at Peterson Technology Partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Direction: Establish project direction, priorities, and scope based on corporate strategy, track status from inception to completion, and manage changes accordingly.
  • Team Leadership: Provide project management, direction, and team leadership for associated projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project team members and internal/external partners to ensure customer needs are met by reviewing requirements, status, and associated issues.
  • Process Management: Ensure consistent project management processes for assigned projects, resolve conflicts as they arise, and communicate expectations, status, and risks to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Deliverables: Track project deliverables using appropriate tools, ensure required documentation is in place, and goals are met.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and provide status reports as needed, identify and implement/recommend corrective action if the project goes off schedule.
  • Evaluation: Evaluate success of projects by facilitating evaluations and assessing the results.
  • Communication: Initiate timely communication of critical events that will affect schedule or budget.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience creating and managing issues using Atlassian Jira.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and systems development life cycle skills, including scope and issue management, schedule management, and deliverable-oriented delivery.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to present information, verbally or in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to develop estimations, including work steps and effort hours.
