Job Description

This Client Director role is responsible for driving strategic growth and direction for global clients or major regional accounts of substantial strategic and revenue-generating importance.

The focus is on developing and executing sales strategies to drive new business within the account, meeting sales quotas, and establishing strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business within the account
  • Meet sales quotas and achieve revenue growth targets
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, including C-level and senior-level executives
  • Prospect and manage large multi-national companies, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to capture them
  • Line management of remote sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure sales success
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accurate sales projections and pipeline management
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and focus, staying up-to-date on industry trends and market developments
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services or software), with evidence of prior success in Sales
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large multi-national companies
  • Proficient in global account planning and understanding of territory management
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added, insightful, and strategic insight into their business
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide IT decision support to global companies
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
  • Extensive and relevant industry knowledge, specific to vertical markets per territory
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full lifecycle of the sales process
  • Bachelor's or master's degree - desired
