Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager to support the Florida market for our Equipment and Supply Division. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and profit generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain customer relationships through visits, complaint resolution, and quality monitoring.
  • Oversee customer-related activities, monitor service metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both customers and B&G Equipment and Supply.
  • Develop, mentor, and support a self-directed team of technicians.
  • Compile billing backups and prepare invoices.
  • Provide input on risk analysis, capacity, and financial objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics such as response time, downtime, and repair time; make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure proper process and documentation are followed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of staffing levels required to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment and interview process of industry candidates to ensure the team is adequately staffed to meet these needs.
  • Track labor reporting and commitments on projects.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess market accuracy, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, reviews, and audits.
  • Collaborate with General Superintendents and Project Managers for planning, execution, and safety.
  • Conduct employee reviews, career development, and lead regional training efforts.
  • Mentor Operations Managers (OMs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in computer-based equipment and programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used in the construction industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all applicable safety standards, rules, laws, and procedures.
  • General knowledge of daily processes and procedures of B&G Equipment and Supply.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to record information in the proper manner in both written work orders and computer databases, maintaining a high level of organization at all times.
  • Demonstrated commitment to stay up-to-date on industry equipment changes, through continued education.
  • Ability to create and foster a team environment.
Working Conditions:

Mostly indoors, but must have the ability to work outside in inclement weather, from time to time. Ability to work in high pressure situations. Travel is required.
