Overview: This role is for a Front Desk Coordinator dedicated to the mission of Saving Lives, Instilling Hope, and Restoring Relationships within a collaborative team that supports patients undergoing counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment. At Spero Health, we believe that optimal outcomes are achieved through holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Open the clinic and warmly welcome patients, ensuring a hospitable and clean environment.
- Provide comfort and support to patients and their significant others.
- Schedule follow-up appointments for patients in person and over the phone, documenting all interactions in the medical record.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Coordinate patient flow with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure proper filing and management of patient records.
- Utilize computer systems effectively for scheduling, modifying, or canceling appointments, and for necessary documentation.
- Conduct daily financial summaries and balance payments received.
- Order, organize, and stock educational materials for patient use.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and ensure continuity of care.
- Assist the team in maintaining accountability for treatment programs and patient compliance.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and CFR 42 part 2 regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Experience: Background in medical and office administration, along with customer service experience demonstrating attention to detail.
