Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the ongoing preventative upkeep of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and grounds while addressing maintenance issues as they arise. This position ensures that maintenance services are readily available for any emergency situations that may occur outside of standard working hours. The supervisor is expected to perform most tasks independently and engage licensed vendors approved by management for assistance when necessary. Additionally, the role involves aiding residents with relocations and minor repairs.

  • Demonstrates the ability to self-manage and stay motivated, effectively prioritizing and completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a positive, courteous, and respectful demeanor towards residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, voltage, and amperage.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, including engine design and operation.
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems, including commodes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, including general principles of operation and mechanics.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, free from major violations.
