We are seeking a Full-Time Community Work Coordinator to oversee the implementation of community-based vocational training initiatives for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive vocational training to clients, focusing on skill development and fostering appropriate workplace behaviors.
  • Oversee clients during their participation in community-based training activities.
  • Manage and support Community Works Vocational Instructors.
  • Identify and cultivate community-based employment opportunities for clients.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with local businesses.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Programs to ensure accurate billing and reporting as required.
  • Engage in all mandatory staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to the Individual Program Plan (IPP) process by providing insights and attending relevant meetings.
  • Keep precise records of client objectives and progress as outlined in the IPP.
  • Gather necessary training data and maintain daily documentation of client activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a human services-related field, with two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings is required.
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a van.
