The Compensation Analyst for Sales plays a crucial role in supporting our Retirement Services (RS) and Employee Benefit (EB) divisions. This position serves as a vital link between producers, licensing operations, IT, and various business stakeholders to ensure the secure and accurate exchange of information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production activities, manage commission payments, and operate within proprietary systems for RS & EB, including the calculation of broker compensation.
  • Identify essential business requests to facilitate timely payments for the respective business lines.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and precise assistance via phone, email, and in-person regarding commission payments, bonuses, and all aspects of producer compensation plans.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism in service interactions, with meticulous attention to detail required for accurately updating producer information across various enterprise systems.
  • Act as the intermediary between producers, licensing operations, IT, and other business users to ensure secure and accurate information exchange.
  • Support projects, audits, testing, research, and resolution related to commissions and producer information as needed.
  • Complete statement processing, accounting, quality assurance, and earnings information, including oversight of financial maintenance, producer data, and sales compensation details.
  • Utilize Empowerment with Accountability (EWA) to assist clients and support agents effectively.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound call volumes from the field for agents and brokers while maintaining service and quality standards.
  • Proactively communicate with the field regarding changes to statements and accounts, chargebacks, corrections, etc.
  • Document all communications through the workflow system for feedback to Sales Compensation, stakeholders, and the field.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree (Call Center, customer service insurance, operations, or financial services).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to navigate multiple systems is essential.
  • Foreign language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Capability to assess and address the needs of clients effectively.

This position will require a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates should be prepared to return to the office as business needs dictate for team collaboration.
