Job Summary

This salaried position exists to coordinate towable Service Technician schedules and activities to ensure all repairs are completed timely, efficiently and in a high quality manner to meet daily goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in organizing, planning and assigning current work activities to technicians to meet established schedule commitments.
  • Assists technicians on trouble shooting, part identification, and part replacement.
  • Monitors and controls individual performance by checking work in progress and recommending corrective actions when necessary and performs quality control inspections on completed repairs.
  • Orders shop supplies & clears on hand inventory.
  • Ensures the shop is clean, organized and free of dangerous or hazardous materials.
  • Safely moves towable RVs around company property, in and out of storage bays, and to storage lots under all weather conditions and assists in transferring units to off-site lots.
  • Assists and supports Service Writers in determining customer needs and scheduling into Service Shop.
Requirements
  • Prior related experience in a service shop environment is required.
  • Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of construction techniques for all types of RVs.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical systems.
  • Requires a thorough working knowledge of RV industry codes and standards.
  • Requires the ability to use a wide variety of hand tools and test equipment as well as to instruct others in proper usage.
Working Conditions

This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 50% of the day and walking, standing in a service shop setting approximately 50% of the day where there may be fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

Requires ability to occasionally travel between field locations.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).

This is position is not a remote work position.
