Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising Mental Health Therapists in all phases of their work, providing direct services to clients, and conducting groups, intakes, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Mental Health Therapists in all phases of their work, including interviewing and selecting candidates for employment, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work/caseloads for employees.
  • Conduct weekly file reviews and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure files meet Federal, State, County, and Sea Mar requirements.
  • Ensure client information is protected and that all employees follow the HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
  • Consult and collaborate with other professionals/agencies on client evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up.
  • Ensure daily completion of electronic progress notes and review and approve electronic progress notes, when necessary, in a timely fashion.
  • Assure that clinical staff maintains updated documentation as required by WAC, County, and State contracts.
  • Ensure system integration of care (primary care, behavioral health, dental care, and overall health) for all patients.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in the Social Science or Social Service field.
  • Mental Health Professional; certification as minority Mental Health Specialist as prescribed by WAC, is preferred.
  • Must have a current Washington State Department of Health license for: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Clinical Social Worker.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in the field, with some administrative experience.
  • This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
