Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Genesis HealthCare. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of customers, day services clients, and/or employees to and from the ElderCare Center. You will operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe manner when transporting patients, families, and employees. Additionally, you will assist patients, their families, and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle, and monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and other fluids. If you have excellent driving skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients, families, and employees safely and efficiently
  • Operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Assist patients, their families, and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle
  • Monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and other fluids
  • Report any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
