Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary:
Woodfords Family Services is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will provide hands-on support to children and teens with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and their families, in home and community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans to foster skills related to behavior management & regulation, communication, self-care, and leisure.
- Manage and effectively modify interfering behaviors across multiple settings and environments.
- Complete and accurately document progress summaries of goals and daily objectives.
- Travel and transport consumers to community activities as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid State of Maine driver's license and personal vehicle with current proof of auto insurance.
- Must complete training and obtain certification as Behavioral Health Professional within 1 year of hire.
What We Offer:
- $22.00/hour - commensurate with experience.
- $375 Sign-on Bonus.
- Flexible weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
