Key Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid medical license in New York State and have a minimum of two years of medical experience post-licensure. Eligibility for transfer or appointment pending examination is required.
Role Overview: The Clinical Physician 2 is responsible for the independent diagnosis, treatment, and provision of comprehensive medical care for designated individuals. This role includes clinical oversight, delivery of medical services, and active participation in discharge planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver general medical care and treatment services
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and analyze diagnostic tests
- Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, therapies, and vaccinations
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Communicate procedures, test results, and diagnoses clearly to individuals and their families
- Engage in discharge planning activities
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Contribute as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Provide medical on-call support for the designated region
- Execute additional assigned responsibilities
