We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Consultant to join our team at Environmental Resources Management (ERM). Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs and strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct hazard assessments and identify corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to improve their safety performance.
- Provide training and coaching to clients on health and safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in project teams and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients and ERM employees to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as safety, occupational health, chemistry, engineering, or a related science.
- 3-5 years of relevant safety experience in the technology, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Seattle area and occasionally outside of the local area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and ERM employees.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting with guidance and direction.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as environmental, chemical, engineering, or a related science.
- Knowledge of Washington regulations and local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with guidance and direction.
The annual base pay for this position is $95,868 - $120,174 USD. An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary-based performance bonus.
