Role Summary:

Core Responsibilities: The main objective of this role is to serve as the key liaison for coordinating, overseeing, and delivering on environmental initiatives and compliance samples.

Key Duties

About You:
  • Act as the primary contact for coordinating, managing, and providing prompt responses to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding project outputs.
  • Organize data deliverables and maintain a comprehensive database of requirements and timelines to meet client and internal deadlines.
  • Collaborate with various analytical departments to compile data for deliverables.
  • Prepare client-specific and industry-related data packages, including the organization of data summary forms and raw analytical results using software such as Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Review Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), assess required deliverables, and coordinate the submission of final laboratory reports, including Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) and data packages.
  • Define project deliverable requirements to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and communicate these requirements to relevant personnel.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of analytical methodologies, updates, and applications to ensure adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
  • Verify data to meet project specifications, including Department of Defense Quality Systems Manual requirements, and familiarize yourself with validation guidelines and tools utilized by clients and third-party validators.
  • Facilitate corrective actions as necessary to meet client expectations.
  • Oversee the use of various third-party software applications to fulfill deliverable requirements.
  • Manage compliance reporting for both state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Department to enhance electronic reporting processes.
  • Update and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Supervise team members within the Reporting Department, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Environmental Chemistry.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff, management, and clients.
  • Capable of sitting or standing for the entirety of an 8-hour workday.
  • Dexterity to operate computers and other equipment.
  • Must possess average vision to read reports and operate machinery.
