About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Springhill Suites by Marriott Roanoke. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Review maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
  • Proactively inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
  • Plan and execute ongoing maintenance programs.
  • Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain the building exterior.
  • Listen and respond to guests' maintenance requests.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-directed individual with a valid driver's license and at least one year of experience in a maintenance role that required troubleshooting and repairing various systems and equipment.
