Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Maintenance Technician for our rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, apartment turnover, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance functions are performed promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with residents, vendors, and the property management team on all maintenance services provided.
  • Respond to on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Complete and follow up on all open unresolved tickets.
  • Use general maintenance equipment, including hand tools, ladders, and landscaping equipment, safely and effectively.
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify required maintenance tasks and ensure excellent curb appeal.
  • Participate in company training classes and meetings.
  • Follow policies related to fair housing, OSHA, pool and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, including basic electrical and plumbing diagnostics/repair.
  • Be a team player in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
  • Have a positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Enjoy helping people.
  • Have basic tools for the trade.
  • Provide a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Have the flexibility to respond to off-hour emergency situations and resident concerns.
  • HVAC certification preferred (CFC Universal).
