About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Service Consultant to join our Employee Benefits team at Holmes Murphy & Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Manage all aspects of client accounts, including primary responsibility for maintaining overall relationships with clients at the executive level, communicating complex client strategies to partners, and ensuring clients are kept abreast of new product offerings, capabilities, and tools.
  • Vendor Management: Develop strong working relationships with insurance carrier/vendor contacts, identify opportunities to form strategic partnerships, and manage escalated vendor issues and negotiations.
  • Team Duties: Actively participate in the professional development of Consultant/Account Manager on assigned accounts, provide direction to other Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Account Managers, and demonstrate a leadership role within the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or HR Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a life/health, employee benefits, or provider organization.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active state-specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
