About the Role

Holmes Murphy & Associates is a leading insurance brokerage firm dedicated to promoting health, protecting wealth, and delivering peace of mind to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Consultant to join our Property & Casualty team in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of business for assigned clients, evaluating their needs and risks to create tailored insurance programs.
  • Understand client business operations and market their needs to insurance carriers to cover risks.
  • Independently perform daily tasks to efficiently manage client service, including renewal marketing and placement of insurance.
  • Respond to daily client service needs, including preparing certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
  • Attend insurance carrier meetings, process endorsements, and maintain follow-up activities.
  • Review, analyze, and check experience mods, and maintain monthly reporting forms.
  • Take ownership and lead accounts, meet with team for pre-renewal meetings, and attend client renewal meetings.
  • Consult with clients on coverage needs, participate in contract review, and market renewal policies.
  • Prepare client renewal documents, invoice agency bill transactions, and ensure accuracy of invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain positive work relationships with team members, and interact with personnel throughout the agency and with customers and insurance company representatives.
Requirements
  • Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Minimum 3+ years of customer service, underwriting, or risk management experience in the insurance industry.
