Research Nurse Supervisor

The MD Anderson Center is seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Supervisor to join our team in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology & Reproductive Medicine.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research nursing and leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing drug therapeutic clinical trials.
As a Research Nurse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in advancing clinical research initiatives, spearheading protocol initiation and management, and providing training and mentorship to team members.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing independent and advanced assessment of patients for protocol eligibility
- Coordinating and managing patient care on clinical trials
- Collaborating with physicians, mid-level practitioners, and research nurses to document patient care
- Tracking protocol-related labs, responses, and research tests
- Participating in data analysis and quality assurance initiatives
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, four years of registered nursing experience, and one year of research nursing and lead/mentor experience. A current State of Texas professional nursing license (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification are also required.
