Nurse Researcher

At Houston Methodist Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Scientist to lead our nursing research activities. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Director and Manager for Nursing Science to develop, coordinate, and implement nursing research initiatives that drive quality care and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and areas for improvement in nursing care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement research projects and initiatives.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on evidence-based practice and research methods.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance nursing research and practice.
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in nursing, with a doctoral degree in a medical field preferred.
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience, with a strong background in research and evidence-based practice.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis.
