Job Overview

Accurate Mechanical Inc is seeking a skilled Commercial Installer to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with various commercial HVAC systems, ensuring high-quality installations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Commercial Installer include, but are not limited to:

  • Installation of diverse commercial HVAC systems such as furnaces, air conditioners, air handlers, mini-splits, rooftop units, unit heaters, boilers, and chillers.
  • Reviewing project drawings for potential conflicts.
  • Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Accurately sizing, cutting, insulating, and installing metal ductwork.
  • Understanding and working with kitchen hoods, exhaust systems, welded ducts, and make-up air systems.
  • Managing project areas with minimal supervision while mentoring level 1 or 2 apprentices.
  • Adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Fostering a positive team environment and enhancing morale among installers.
  • Completing small jobs or phases of projects efficiently and within budget.
  • Providing valuable suggestions for value engineering on projects.
  • Maintaining an open-minded approach to innovative ideas.
  • Offering constructive feedback for installer evaluations.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the operational sequences of equipment relevant to the mechanical trade.
  • Collaborating with project leaders to promote efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Accurately completing weekly time cards.
Work Environment

Installers may be required to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow. The role may also involve working in confined or dirty spaces and climbing ladders.

Qualifications
  • Aerial lift certification.
  • Crane lift and rigging certification.
