Job Summary:

R&T Yoder HVAC Inc is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new HVAC systems and perform routine maintenance on existing systems
  • Remove old HVAC systems and dispose of them in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Perform in-field sales and customer service duties
  • Train junior team members on HVAC systems and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients and customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Order and maintain equipment and supplies as needed
  • Run pipe and duct systems through buildings and read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Understand refrigeration cycles and interpret technical data such as pressure and temperature

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the HVAC field
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems and local codes
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
