This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about serving the needs of individuals impacted by HIV and other infectious diseases.
The Practice Administrator 2 will be responsible for performing managerial, administrative, and facility support duties under the direction of the Sr. Director and Regional Director of Clinical Operations.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Medical Practice Manager, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directing, coordinating, and integrating practice resources to meet both short-term and long-term facility and organizational goals.
- Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, onboarding and training staff on new policies and processes, ensuring compliance, reporting issues, and recommending solutions.
- Working closely with staff and providers to ensure location compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Managing provider schedules and patient appointments in EMR.
- Coordinating related activities between direct and indirect departments to ensure a collaborative working environment.
- Acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfactory experience.
The Practice Administrator 2 will also be responsible for:
- Interviewing and assisting HR in interviewing and onboarding new hires.
- Assisting with scheduling required training and measuring proficiency to ensure knowledge of all workflows.
- Conducting employee coaching and reviews, providing appropriate constructive feedback or disciplinary action and training when necessary.
- Attending and actively participating in all required trainings and meetings.
- Anticipating needs and setting priorities to handle a changing environment.
- Reviewing, approving, and submitting payroll on time.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative management style, and the ability to effectively utilize problem-solving and decision-making techniques.
