Job Title: Order Entry Specialist

About the Role:

The Order Entry Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive outstanding service by accurately entering data, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately input customer orders, inquiries, and other data into our internal system.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner, providing accurate information and solutions.
  • Order Processing: Enter, status, and track customer orders from receipt through to shipment, ensuring all details are correct and customers are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Attention to Detail: Review orders and communications for accuracy, verify pricing, and customer information to prevent errors.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently and effectively, escalating more complex cases to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, shipping, and production, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative, Data Entry Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Proficiency in using databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
  • CRM (Salesforce) experience is a plus.
