American Training is seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will provide assessment and direct nursing care to our guests, ensuring their health and well-being are met with the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities- Assess and coordinate medical supports for guests, including emergency treatment as required.
- Communicate medical changes and needs to Residential and Clinical Vice President/Directors, Senior Nurse Manager, and colleagues.
- Train colleagues and ensure competency in special needs and medical issues of guests.
- Provide technical training and ensure competency of colleagues in the use of medical devices.
- Nursing degree with a Massachusetts RN license in good standing, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- One-year related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of MAP regulations and Department of Developmental Services regulations a plus.
- Satisfactory CORI.
