Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a pristine environment for guests, staff, and vendors. Responsibilities include:

  • Restocking linen closets with necessary supplies for room attendants, including direct deliveries when required.
  • Clearing soiled linens and trash from room attendant carts.
  • Cleaning corridor walls and doors, as well as polishing mirrors and elevator doors.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Assisting with mattress flipping and furniture movement as directed by supervisors.
  • Adhering to attendance policies and maintaining regular availability for shifts.
  • Completing any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
  • A proactive attitude and a consistent demeanor.
  • A professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
  • A willingness to assist colleagues and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • The physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to follow instructions from supervisors accurately.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
