Position: Non-Clinical Research Associate

Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour (based on experience)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a proficient and knowledgeable Research Associate to become an integral part of our innovative team. In the role of Non-Clinical Research Associate, you will be instrumental in overseeing and coordinating research initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing mentorship to junior research personnel. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in data management, clinical research coordination, and administrative functions, who are eager to contribute to significant scientific progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise research projects, ensuring compliance with established timelines and protocols.
  • Conduct data management activities, including data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Engage in fundamental clinical research tasks, such as subject recruitment and informed consent processes.
  • Coordinate study logistics, including scheduling, site visits, and communication with participants and investigators.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior research staff, guiding them on research methodologies and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including investigators, sponsors, and external partners.
  • Maintain precise and current study documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in study-related meetings and presentations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, clinical research coordination, and administrative tasks within a research or healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in data management and statistical analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SPSS, SAS).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, public health, nursing) is required; advanced degree is preferred.

Compensation Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
