About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Safety Manager to join our team at InfraSource. As a key member of our safety leadership team, you will be responsible for providing area-level safety leadership and promoting a positive safety culture across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide area-level safety leadership and guidance to safety professionals and administrators
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with safety managers and other department senior managers to identify and address safety concerns
  • Provide training and coaching to safety professionals and administrators on safety best practices and procedures
  • Assist with investigations and root cause analysis of safety incidents
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on safety regulations and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable safety experience or 7 years of safety experience with OSHA 500 certification
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel nationwide or regionally as needed
