Job Summary

The laboratory of Dr. Rui Kong at Emory Vaccine Center is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team. Our research focuses on B cell response, monoclonal antibodies, and vaccine development. We are interested in the following areas: 1) B cell response in infection and vaccination at single-cell level; 2) Tumor-specific B cells and antibodies; 3) Preventative and/or therapeutic monoclonal antibody development; 4) HIV-1 fusion peptide vaccine development.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct research within a specified field while receiving advanced training from a designated Principal Investigator.
  • Develop new ideas that promote current research.
  • Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
  • May be responsible for operation of specific equipment.
  • May teach techniques to others, train, and supervise research staff.
Requirements
  • A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc) in an appropriate field.
  • Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
