Psychiatry Assistant Professor Emory Healthcare Veterans Program

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team at Emory University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will serve as a full-time psychologist for the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program (EHVP) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services to post-9/11 veterans and service members at no cost to the patient as part of the Warrior Care Network.
- Conduct clinical research and supervise postdoctoral fellows and trainees in the conduct of care and research.
- Work together with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, substance use disorder (SUD), and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
- Participate in quality improvement endeavors and contribute to the development of clinical programs and services.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Licensed or license eligible in Georgia.
- Experience working with veterans and patients with PTSD, TBI, SUD, anxiety, and depression.
- Publications and evidence of academic achievement.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and work within a multidisciplinary care team.
