Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Medical Doctor to join our team as a Surgical Oncology Fellow. This is a unique opportunity to gain advanced training in breast cancer surgery and contribute to the excellence of our academic community.

The Department of Surgery at Emory University is committed to fostering the development of high-quality fellowship programs, including our Society of Surgical Oncology-approved Breast Oncology Fellowship. As a fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of world-class surgeons and researchers, and develop the skills necessary to become a leader in academic breast surgery.

The program accepts two fellows per year, who train at Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, AVON Comprehensive Breast Center at Grady Memorial Hospital, and Emory University Hospital Midtown. Upon completion of training, fellows will have the skills necessary to apply an integrated interdisciplinary approach to the management of women with benign and malignant breast diseases in a comprehensive and compassionate manner.

Applicants must have completed a general surgery residency and American Board of Surgery eligibility. Two fellows are selected per year and interviews are scheduled for the Fall preceding the match year.
